SUMMARY OF POSITION:  The Account Executive drives business by identifying and managing opportunities in the clinical research space.  Such opportunities primarily involve working with clinics and independent research sites.  This position will sell service lines applicable for these clients.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • No degree required.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Professional experience in sales
  • 3 or more years selling in the healthcare industry prefered.  Experience selling consulting or professional services preferred.
  • Strong existing business relationships with customers in target industries
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and closing sales
  • A proven track record of sales success meeting annual targets
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a performance-driven environment: a proactive, results-driven and goal-oriented approach.
  • Strong investigative skills with the ability to think “outside the box”
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information in a consultative manner
  • Energetic, confident, self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in the dynamic environment of a growing company
  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Develop target territory and account plans
  • Prepare quarterly and annual forecasts tied to company booking objectives
  • Conduct full cycle sales – identify, contact, promote, qualify and close new sales
  • Build and manage a network of potential clients
  • Maintain strong business relationships with all new and existing clients to optimize customer satisfaction and repeat sales opportunities
  • Utilize online CRM to maintain up-to-date customer profiles, sales opportunities and forecasts.
