SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Associate Data Manager (ADM) is responsible for creation/maintenance of technical process documents and testing/maintenance of the project database for assigned projects.  The ADM ensures assigned data management deliverables are completed and delivered in compliance with project timelines. The ADM works closely with the Project Specialists to ensure case processing is performed according to project guidelines and within agreed upon timeframes. For those projects to which the ADM is assigned that require oversight, the ADM is responsible for escalating project issues to the oversight DM as necessary.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

BS/BA required or equivalent experience.


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • At least two (2) years of clinical data management experience in the CRO and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiences, including clients and internal project teams.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Working with technical experts and lead Data Manager to implement the committee infrastructure according to the clinical trial protocol, sponsor requirements, and charter within the defined timelines.
  • Assist the lead Data Manager in creating project deliverables including configuration and implementation of ACI’s adjudication system, AIMS.
  • Creation of project documents relating to adjudication and clinical trials. Project documents may include:
    • eCRF creation
    • System configuration and testing
    • Assist with Edit specification authoring and testing
    • Metric review and reporting
    • Data Review
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
