Description and Requirements


The Clinical Solutions, Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing clinical trial performance data, turning data into information, information into insight, and using the insight to support our clinical trial services.  This position will support the continued development of our data analytics and insights services.  Additionally, this role will hold the responsibility for much of the reporting derived from these insights. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.


Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline from a recognized University or College

Advanced degree preferred


  • 1+ years of experience analyzing large data sets, applying a variety of statistical techniques such as regression, discriminant analysis, cluster analysis, and/or Bayesian Theory
  • Prefer relevant work experience in clinical development with progressing experience with data analytics, market research, and/or data mining in developing feasibility and clinical trial development strategies
  • Practical experience, understanding, and demonstrated experience mining, manipulating and presenting of complex scientific data as it relates to clinical research and market analyses
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, D3.js, GGplot, etc.
  • Knowledgeable and basic understanding of applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of clinical trial data services
  • Assist the organization discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data (open source, licensed and proprietary) and help us make smarter decisions to deliver excellent services and products
  • Consolidate data to formulate data driven and informed protocol and site feasibility recommendations; including, but not limited to, development of an informed list of appropriate, high-performing investigators and/or country distribution, assist in the development a variety of scenarios based on customer strategy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • bility to multi-task, work effectively in fast-paced and stressful situations, meet strict deadlines, and work independently
  • Proven history of thriving in a fast-paced environment, while dealing with ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills, extreme attention to detail, and outstanding trouble-shooting skills are required
  • Develop reports and dashboards for business units, internal and external clients.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.


  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, dashboards and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Fulfill ad-hoc reporting needs of the business unit by utilizing available tools.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.  These additional duties may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
