Description and Requirements

WIRB-Copernicus Group is searching for a Financial Project Analyst to serve as the primary business representative for any Project related accounting and finance functions, including overall responsibility for data integrity in company’s time tracking system.  Our Financial Project Analyst will be responsible for ensuring time data is accurate for Revenue and Capex reporting.  If you’re an accounting / financial professional who has experience as a system administrator, we would like to speak to you directly.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree required in life sciences, business administration, finance or another relevant field

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

·         Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a systems administrator position supporting processes and standards with increasing responsibility.

·         Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role with experience in project accounting, revenue recognition and fixed asset management. 

·         Familiar with database concepts such as tables, records and fields.

·         Experience with NetSuite and Replicon preferred.

·         Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·         Experience with systems administration, time tracking systems and procedures required.

·         Experience with supporting system enhancements/changes and end user testing.

·         Facility with data manipulation and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

IT System Administration Support

·         Work closely with the ERP Administrator and Corporate Controller to implement new processes and internal controls in order to ensure accuracy of data, coordinate and manage upgrades, enhancements, tests and audits.

·         Conduct regular reviews of any time tracking and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and relevance.

·         Run regular Replicon data checks to ensure integrity of time data and administrative aspects such as user profiles, project profiles, and adherence to business processes and rules.

·         Responsible for timely response to help desk tickets for ERP and Time Tracking system.

·         Provide support and direction to subsidiary-level system administrators for time tracking system.

IT Liaison/ Capex Accounting

·         Responsible for monthly Capitalization processes and ensuring project costs are capitalized in accordance with GAAP

·         Assist in maintaining IT Operational and Capital budgets, providing monthly cost analysis, and review consultant and professional fees for missing invoices or billing discrepancies.

·         Work closely with Finance and IT to ensure the time tracking data is meeting needs for capital expense tracking and reporting.

Project /Revenue Analysis

·         Responsible for reviewing all new projects entered into ERP System- NetSuite

·         Responsible for tracking and analyzing all new revenue projects on a monthly basis and review for SSP variances, and proper GAAP accounting in conformity with ASC 606.

·         Become SME on revenue project accounting in ERP system

·         Run regular NetSuite data checks user profiles, project and sales order records, and adherence to business processes and rules.

·         Provide executive summary reports on a weekly basis to the Corporate Controller

Continuous Improvement Activities

·         Update training materials and ensuring accurate assignment via WCG University training grids

·         Maintain the information on the Replicon SharePoint site so that it is concise and current.

·         Make recommendations on process improvements to better automate and control data and quality of data.

·         Contribute to the design and analysis of a project level dashboard that combines project detail with revenue and cost data.
