JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for leading the long-term strategic direction of the FDAnews and CenterWatch publication businesses. This role will lead by setting vision, translating intentions into business unit structures and processes, building and leading a leadership team to ensure that every-day functioning of the business delivering sustained-performance and growth. This role will manage senior staff to ensure business outcomes, revenue and operating profits. Directs business development and ensures accurate and appropriate editorial content. Provides leadership to the organization identifying new and innovative products and services.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
-10+ years of experience running a publishing operation or a division within a publishing operation with
expertise in editorial content strategy and development
-Must have a knowledge of clinical research concepts, practices, and FDA regulation and ICH Guidelines
regarding drug development phase, clinical trials, clinical study design and data management methods
-Proven track record of managing, growing, and leading large teams
-Experience influencing across cross-functional teams and matrixed teams
-Experience managing operational P&L
-Ability to serve as a willing and effective ambassador to customers, resellers, industry partners, and
authors, and to be an inspiring presence to internal stakeholders
-Analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions
-Ability to set overall strategy and influence process improvement
-Experienced communication skills; conflict/resolution experience; strong presentation ability via remote
platforms and in person
-Strong knowledge of list management and direct marketing
