JOB SUMMARY:  This role is a critical component to the continued successful growth of our organization. Work with members of the C-suite team and private equity investors that is comprised of seasoned business professionals and will be exposed to many of the top business and scientific leaders in the healthcare and life sciences industry.  Responsible for working with the Executive M&A team to develop M&A strategy, select acquisition targets, conduct due diligence on target companies, executing transactions, and supporting the integration of completed acquisitions.  This position is highly visible among senior management, the board of directors, and key investors.


·         Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting



  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in investment banking and/or private equity
  • Has working knowledge and experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate development, or other related field.
  • Two years’ experience in developing financial analysis and strategy in the selection of acquisition targets with over $30 million in revenue.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience conducting or supporting M&A due diligence.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures as well as effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must have a track record of assuming increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Must be able to influence decisions through clear, data-driven analysis and cogent presentation.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, receiving minimal instruction on routine work, and general instruction on new assignments.
  • Quick learner who is self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and “going the extra mile.”
  • Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment and adaptive to change.
  • Ability and comfort with presenting financial information to groups.
  • Corporate finance and basic accounting knowledge are required, as well as effective organization, planning and interpersonal skills.

  • Support integrations of acquisitions.
  • Other duties as assigned. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
