Description and Requirements

The Associate Director/Director, Data Operations & Analytics is responsible for managing KMR Group benchmarking and data analytics projects both internal and client-facing. The Associate Director/Director coordinates internal project teams, directs analyst staff to meet business goals, presents project results to clients, and aids in direct client communications.  The Associate Director also supports senior leadership as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Assist VP on direct management of internal data and databases, data uploads and data and systems validation as required.
  • Work as client lead on benchmarking projects.
  • Manage project, project timelines and project status meetings. 
  • Lead data analysis for reports and summarize key report findings. 
  • Present findings to clients on projects
  • Provide direction, motivation and training for data analyst staff.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to team members on methods and approaches.
  • Lead and document data validation requirements as required.
  • Work closely with developers to review data validation issues and ensure appropriate updates have been implemented.
  • Oversee data research for projects as required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, mathematics or technical related field
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in science, mathematics or technical field is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • 8- 10 years of experience in a professional office environment; 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Management consulting; data analytics and/or life sciences experience.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Polished, professional communicator, excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to an executive audience and technical concepts to a non-technical audience.  
  • Leads by influence and example:  proven team player – works well in cross functional teams. 
  • Demonstrated results managing projects 
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial and small organization. 
  • Flexibility, superior attention to detail, willingness to go “The extra mile”
  • Excellent writing and computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with all Microsoft office products
