JOB SUMMARY: At KMR Group we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person for our growing Analytics team.  The position will be involved in all aspects of data management and analysis including data validation, databases and visualization as part of our work to evaluate biopharma R&D performance. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, passionate, self-starter who can get up to speed quickly and comply with KMR standards.

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or sciences required


  • 1-3 years of work experience in management consulting, life sciences, or data analytics.
  • Microsoft Excel and Office skills including knowledge of pivot tables, array formulas, and VBA.
  • Demonstrated experience with data management, interpretation, and presentation.
  • Passion for data analysis and problem solving.
  • Familiarity and interest in life sciences industry.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
  • Close attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be dependable and results-driven.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Manage raw data, query, and create databases using Excel.
  • Construct data frameworks for analyzing data; analyze data using standard methods as well as statistical methods, interpret results, and present clear summaries.
  • Visualize data using Excel and Visio.
  • Interpret data analysis and write reports.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of data analysis packages for client data services.
  • Input and review data received from client.
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, dashboards and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Validate applications used (online and internally).
  • Fulfill ad-hoc reporting needs of the business unit by utilizing available tools.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
