JOB SUMMARY: The Director, Project Management, Client Delivery maintains direct ownership and accountability for all accounts as well as develops and drives growth programs, maintains a competitive analysis, and initiates programs aimed at the successful and sustained growth of the Safety & Training Business. This position has responsibility for all service quality and project operations, including team hiring and management and client facing activities.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of college degree will be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of program/project management experience demonstrating management of all stages of project-life cycle with a proven record of accomplishment of successful delivery with customer impact
- 5+ years of experience working on pharmaceutical industry projects requiring 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance.
- Background in clinical research and technology required
- Solid conflict resolution, problem solving and decision making skills required.
- Must be able to organize diverse activities in a changing fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong aptitudes for conceptual thinking, project management and business awareness.
- Ability to lead through influencing and negotiating.
- Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills and able to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and at all levels of the organization; ability to adapt communication style to the targeted audience will be required.
- Strong financial acumen required; must have advanced knowledge of financial management and forecasting skills.

- In-depth understanding of project financials (estimated budgets, costs, actual hours, etc.) and the ability to track and reconcile.
- Ability to work within deadlines, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
- Ability to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
- Oversee all aspects of the web, print, or video project using planning, monitoring, and controlling processes.
- Provides strategic guidance and leadership to the team and stakeholders.
- Accountable for measurement and delivery of key business and program metrics.
- Develops and communicates project management standards, processes and best practices.
- Identify, secure, and coordinate internal and external resources and expertise, as appropriate, to achieve program and project objectives; align resources to service engagements.
- Collaborate with functional areas in the supervision of project staff, including work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluate staff performance and make recommendations.
- Ensure all projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiate changes in project resources, as necessary, to achieve objectives and timelines.
- Assign projects to Client Delivery Management staff and monitor progress.
- Advise leadership and/or business executives at the highest levels about the project portfolio, status, and resource planning.
- Assist with project profitability, timing expectations and revenue reporting.
- Develop and deliver client presentations that highlight practice methodologies, operations, and potential projects.
- Serve as escalation point for clients and consultants to address concerns, questions and conflicts surrounding projects and operations; negotiate successful resolution to project issues or conflicts.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the execution of service engagement.
- Manage relationship with business and executive stakeholders (internal and external).
- Responsible for planning and scheduling project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
- Lead project discussions including post-mortems and project checkpoints.
- Balance workloads and capacity demands.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

Expected annual base salary range: $97,200 to $174,800
