Description and Requirements

The Director, Total Feasibility Services will be responsible and accountable for the strategic planning and execution of feasibility projects across the Total Feasibility Services team in accordance with senior management guidance. Responsible for applying project management methodology, leadership, and problem-solving skills to business-critical feasibility initiatives.  Responsible for supervising the planning, staffing, and execution of projects in accordance with organizational Standard Operating Procedures and other formal guidance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Shape the strategic approach to client specific business needs relevant to end-to-end feasibility support solutions. 
  • Initiate strategic solutions to key business challenges and deliver customized results to clients  
  • Work across the feasibility organization to recommend a resource management and capacity planning strategy. 
  • Principal subject matter expert in the development and delivery of Total Feasibility Services (i.e. Competitive landscape analysis, enrollment modeling, site identification, feasibility strategy and outreach).
  • Oversee all activities and service to clients for assigned studies to ensure service is being met or exceeded within company standards. 
  • Manage and lead Total Feasibility Services projects, resources, technologies and information to support client and Company for project/service solutions.
  • Ensure the departmental role in maintaining established deadlines and service standards for study feasibility activities. 
  • Liaise with internal Clinical Data Analysts, Feasibility Specialists, Project managers and clients to identify and define project-specific requirements and meet objectives.
  • Responsible for ensuring clients’ needs are understood and translated to internal support teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded upon delivery
  •  Lead in strategic oversight for feasibility outreach
  • Create and oversee the preparation of project related reports.
  • Management of projects as the point of contact for clients and core stakeholders after the launch of a feasibility project
  • Monitor project progress, forecast potential issues and identify solution
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Create and develop client deliverables to meet requirements of the study team.   

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in health care or scientific discipline; or the equivalent combination of education, skills and experience to perform the job.
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in clinical trial feasibility/project management required.
  • Must have demonstrated advanced experience in clinical development with progressing experience with data analytics relative to developing feasibility and clinical trial development strategies.
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior supervisory experience demonstrating leadership expertise desired. 
  • Exposure to project management team environment required.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills required. 
  • Ability to work with flexibility and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Complete understanding of the protocol development and feasibility lifecycles.
  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven site identification and feasibility strategy execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analytics related to competitive landscape analysis, enrollment modeling and complex study planning business challenges.
  • Strategic consulting experience in feasibility solution delivery.
  • Knowledge of financial management concepts.
  • Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques.
  • Excellent problem solving/decision making skills.
  • Forecasting/simulation experience.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to utilize technology and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow for clear and effective client communication.
  • Strong facilitation and coordination skills.  
  • Must be able to positively influence teams to achieve goals. 
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail skills required. Must take pride in work product results; strive towards 100% accuracy in work processes and 100% on-time delivery of projects.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
