Description and Requirements

The Human Capital Management (HCM/HR) Operations Specialist will be responsible for performing HCM transactions and administration in support of our global, multi-company employee base.   This position works in very close partnership with the Human Capital Management team and is responsible for all facets of the operations duties within the following primary areas: USA benefits administration; HCMIS administration; compliance and reporting; systems upkeep and records managements, reporting and analytics, and employee lifecycle management.  As a member of the HCM Operations team you will be asked to serve as a Subject Matter Expect in your specialty to help design and execute efficient, accurate and timely HCM processes that support the overall HCM Strategic Goals, will provide coverage and support for peers as needed, cross-train to allow shared process management,  and receive guidance and escalation support from the HCM Operations leadership team.   Members of this team are designated one or more specialties, ensuring that all facets of HCM Operations receive required expertise support, and allowing HCM Operations Specialist to develop, grow, and foster a broader range of knowledge as their specialties expand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Administration and quality control of tools and systems utilized by global HCM Function - including, but not limited to: Core HRIS, Vendor Tools, Benefits Enrollment System, Compliance Management, Document Sharing, Survey Management, HCM Workflow Management, Org Charting, etc.

•Coordinate the timely, secure transfer of HCM data between and among key HCM stakeholders, vendors or 3rd parties

•Evaluate processes, forms, and roles to ensure outstanding service levels through consistency of delivery,  efficiency, and confidentiality 

•Act as customer support, liaison and advocate between employees, managers, process stakeholders, and HCM Team to evaluate issues, identify trends,  and solve problems

•Authors and Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), instructional resources, forms, and templates

•Support and maintain human resources information systems duties such as new hire entry; employee data changes; and termination processing; ensure accurate and up to date employee data is maintained; and develop and update employee files. Run reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis

•Handle HCM compliance matters such as required notifications and collection of data (e.g., HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA notices, Labor Law Posters, EEO, Veterans & Disability, Unemployment, I-9/E-Verify)

•Process and track HCM Support Services Helpdesk requests and manage assigned requests

•Administer various human resources policies and practices; assist in the development of new polices and updates to the employee handbook

•Maintain human resources dashboard to support regular reporting of key measures and metrics and trends

•Coordinate and support key HCM programs such as PTO, Loyalty Awards, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, Benefits Enrollments

•Evaluates inter-dependencies between HCM processes and data, and ensure stability of the relationship or impacts to other stakeholder groups

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CANDIDATE:

•High school diploma / GED and 5 years HCM professional work experience, or College Degree with 3 years HCM professional work experience

•Professional Human Resources certification preferred 

•Working knowledge of multiple human resources functional areas including Onboarding/Offboarding, Benefits, HCMIS, Compliance, Talent and operations

•Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks on differing timelines & priorities

•Strong customer service and follow up experience

•Ability to lead change management initiatives

•Must uphold the highest level of ethical behavior and be fully committed to maintaining confidentiality

•Thorough knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office - MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint

•Prior experience using ADP Workforce now, or similar Core HRIS system

•Experience with mergers & acquisitions is a plus

•Multi-state, and multi-country worker and policy experience is a plus
