The expected base salary range for this position is $90,090 to $140,000. This salary range may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
JOB SUMMARY: The Infrastructure Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions. This role partners with senior leadership and with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals, security standards, and scalability requirements. The Infrastructure Solutions Architect advises and provides technical leadership in infrastructure architecture, network design, data center strategy, cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery, and technology integration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient IT infrastructure solutions.
- Develop infrastructure architecture blueprints, evaluate architectural alternatives and create implementation guidelines for data centers, private, public and hybrid cloud models, networking, storage, and virtualization platforms including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services
- Lead the assessment, evaluation, and selection of infrastructure technologies and services.
- Partner with application architects, developers, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with organizational standards.
- Define and document architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Oversee infrastructure projects from concept to completion, providing technical oversight and troubleshooting expertise.
- Ensure infrastructure meets performance, availability, and security requirements.
- Conduct infrastructure risk assessments and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging infrastructure technologies and industry trends.
- Perform occasional after-hour work as needed to support business needs
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or similar are desirable.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, including architecture or engineering capacities.
- Strong experience in cloud platforms (Azure, M365, Power Platform), networking, server/storage systems, databases, and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V).
- Deep understanding of security best practices, compliance regulations, and disaster recovery.
- Proven ability to design and implement large, complex infrastructure solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate technically complex concepts to non-technical and managerial audiences
