JOB SUMMARY:  
The NetSuite Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining configurations and customizations of NetSuite OneWorld, while evaluating and implementing third-party tools and related integrations, to meet the organization's business requirements.  The position will work closely with the Technology Solutions’ Finance Systems team and the Finance/Accounting/FP&A teams, to closely align the NetSuite system with business goals.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; in lieu of degree, candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience will be considered
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer II, Administrator, ERP Consultant preferred
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • 3+ years of experience required in the following: 
  • NetSuite development, including NetSuite SuiteScript and NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Framework, of new customizations and updates and modifications to existing scripts via analysis of business processes to recommend scripted optimizations and/or improvements
  • Building new custom objects with an understanding of the impact in NetSuite SuiteBundler, NetSuite SuiteFlow Customization, and NetSuite Administration 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NetSuite financial modules including purchasing, order management, fixed assets, advanced intercompany journals, AP/AR in a multi-subsidiary, multi-currency environment
  • Hands-on experience in solution design, software installation and data migration
  • Working with multiple sandbox environments in the development lifecycle
  • 3+ years of experience preferred in the following:
  • Hands-on experience with Strongpoint
  • NetSuite SuiteProjects, OpenAir or similar PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools
  • Working knowledge of Jira
  • Dell BOOMI or other iPaaS solutions
  • Adaptive, Blackline, OneSource, UKG
  • NetGain (NetLease, NetAsset)
  • Salesforce
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NetSuite ARM and ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition and how to interpret sales contracts and their impact on rev recognition
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NetSuite platform (SuiteAnalytics, NetSuite configuration, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder)
  • Demonstrated end to end functional, process and technical knowledge of NetSuite including hands-on implementation, integration, customization, and support experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work on several projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly self-motivated and takes initiative; able to work independently, asking for help when needed
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work closely with business stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Solid knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Management
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
  • Advise business on use cases for customization versus native functionality.
  • Develop customizations, including custom code using SuiteScript 2.x and test custom solutions, based on business requirements.
  • Document customizations, including use cases and test scripts for QA and UAT, supporting QA and UAT as required.
  • Customize NetSuite fields, page layouts, record types, reports, saved searches, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Maintain users, roles, security, profiles, workflow rules.
  • Work with multiple teams on projects involving financial applications and processes.
  • Research and analyze application behaviors and identify areas to improve performance and stability.
  • Configure NetSuite to align to company use of forms, fields, and custom records to manage unique business process requirements.
  • Work with IT and other business groups to design changes to existing systems and integrate new systems into infrastructure if needed.
  • Understand, articulate and document needed customization, reports and capabilities.
  • Support ITGC and SOX audits.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

Expected annual base salary range: $69,400 to $97,000
