Description and Requirements

The Project Specialist, Scale Management provides support for all translation projects according to WCG Clinical Endpoint Solutions MedAvante-Prophase SOPs and GCP. The successful incumbent provides quality customer service and assists in the delivery of all scale management/translation projects. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager/Associate Director/Director, The Project Specialist, Scale Management is responsible for the day-to-day administration and organization of providing language availability and translation pricing information for all newly submitted request for proposals (RFP) and ultimately reconciling actual project costs to estimates provided at the time of RFP. These activities will enable WCG Clinical Endpoint Solutions MedAvante-Prophase to adhere to their pricing strategy of passing through translation costs for all pen/paper and Virgil® migrated scales to the appropriate clients. The Project Specialist, Scale Management will work with study teams to ensure that all translation estimates are accurately identified at the time of RFP and adhere to the agreed upon scope of work.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 1 to 2 years of related administrative experience; or the equivalent combination of education, skills and experience to perform the job.

  • Exposure to project management team environment desired. Must have at least six (6) months of demonstrated administrative experience supporting projects or programs.

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills required.

  • Knowledge of financial management a plus.

  • Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT SPECIALIST: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Coordinate all RFP translation needs, work with appropriate WCG Clinical Endpoint Solutions MedAvante-Prophase translation vendors/partners to support the client and the Company for project/service solutions.

  • Liaise with study team to identify and define requirements and objectives of RFP translation needs so that translation costs are accurate at the time of the RFP submission.……..

  • Work with Scale Management team and Client Services Team to ensure clients’ needs are met by tracking and reconciling all translations expenses back to appropriate study.…...

  • Prepare project related translations estimates and invoice reconciliation for all new RFPs .

  • Monitor project progress and handle client and vendor issues as they arise.

  • . Establish translation pricing information for all newly submitted request for proposals (RFP)

  • Reconcile and Create and maintain translation estimates and reconciliations to ensure accurate client invoicing.

  • Ensure process adherence to SOP’s and GCP for all daily responsibilities.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
