Description and Requirements

SUMMARY OF POSITION: A leadership role responsible for biostatistics and programming activities at ACI Clinical and Statistics Collaborative. Supports the VP, Biostatistics and Programming with the management and oversight of biostatistics and programming operations to drive profitability and workflow efficiency.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

·       Master’s Degree in Statistics required; PhD preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Supervising and mentoring Data Sciences group including hiring and training of new employees, performance appraisals, and other standard managerial duties.
  • Assisting in the cultivation of new business development opportunities, including preparing and presenting company capabilities for prospective clients, developing Request For Information/Proposals (RFI/RFP), and creating and approving study budgets.
  • Providing biostatistics and statistical programming oversight to support Data Monitoring Committees, Endpoint Adjudication Committees, and Statistical Consulting
  • Consult on client projects in biostatistics and programming as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·    This position will require the individual to be responsible for the management, direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of an assigned team and staff.   Responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10%
