JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Creative Services plays a key role in elevating the WCG
brand among clients, investors, and employees by providing strategic design and content
direction for Marketing campaigns and branded materials. As an expert on graphic design
mediums and user experience, the Senior Manager, Creative Services will play a visible role in
collaborating with Marketing leaders and various WCG stakeholders to identify needs, define
creative design strategies to achieve goals, and support the creation and execution of content
and branded materials. This role will lead collaboration among creative team members to
establish and extend branding and design standards and manage the execution and delivery of
content by internal and vendor teammates.

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Design or Business-related field or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience to perform the job.
  • Innovative problem solver who uses their knowledge of the life sciences industry, user experience and graphic design to craft creative and impactful experiences.
  • Minimum of six (6) years’ work experience in an agency or in-house creative role required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of life sciences/CRO/pharma/biotech experience required.
  • B2B marketing experience preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of proven experience in a management role, demonstrating leadership, decision-making and team-building skills. 
  • Proven ability to manage creative projects from conception through execution.
  • Ability to influence and drive collaboration between multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong creative, problem solving, and analytical skills required.
  • Excels with hands-on creation and partnering with external creators and agencies.
  • Fluent with Adobe Design Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong experience creating brand videos and animations required.
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple creative projects concurrently.
  • Comfortable leading meetings and presenting to leaders.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to the targeted audience will be required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required such as listening objectively and handling details of a
  • highly confidential and critical nature.
  • Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality performance and output.
  • WordPress, HTML and CSS skills a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics a plus.
  • and Marketo experience a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
  • Leads the creative execution of the company’s participation in industry tradeshows and conferences
  • Oversees the collaboration and execution between creative team, contractors, marketers, Subject Matter Experts, and internal stakeholders
  • Oversees, tracks, and reports on timelines for all ongoing creative projects to key stakeholders across the corporate function
  • Identifies opportunities to improve team performance and efficiency and collaborates with support service leads to implement new operational and technical solutions
  • Defines and enforces brand standards, guidelines, and playbooks for internal and external partners
  • Develops best-in-class creative content for a wide range of brand touchpoints, audiences, and campaigns, including sales enablement materials, videos, email, web, PowerPoint presentations, tradeshow/event materials and displays, digital & offline ads, social, and videos
  • Manages creative talent including a mix of full-time associates & contractors (designers, copywriters) and agencies
  • Partners with marketers in the creation and execution of marketing strategies in line with company objectives
  • Leads the creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Works with marketers to monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing
  • communications and materials
  • Works closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches as needed
  • Maintains effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions have access to up-to-date marketing and sales collateral and branded WCG materials
  • Analyzes potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The position may require the individual to be responsible for the supervision, direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of an assigned team and staff.
