The expected base salary range for this position is $51,480-$80,000. This salary range may vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.

JOB SUMMARY: The Statistical Analyst collaborates with BAC leadership to design and implement complex data analyses. This will include working cross-functionally to further understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry to translate complex data analysis into actionable insights of the highest practical use to WCG’s clients. The Statistical Analyst must be able to communicate methodology and findings to stakeholders of varying degrees of technical expertise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.  The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Creates and maintains data frameworks for analyzing data.
  • Design, execute, and validate data analysis using standard and novel methods, including traditional statistical methods as well as AI/ML frameworks.
  • Interprets results identifying trends and patterns in complex datasets. Presents clear insights and rationale to WCG management.
  • Presents clear summaries of project status and results to WCG management.
  • Develops project-specific SOPs and manages project documentation and meeting minutes.
  • Collaborates in the development and delivery of data analysis packages for client data services; reviews written reports.
  • Creates and maintains internal and client-facing presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio for client deliverable applying understanding of our data frameworks.
  • Maintains project logs in a timely fashion by assessing status/progress of tasks to ensure readiness of log for internal meetings and to avoid delays.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree required.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of data analysis experience.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency with Python and/or R. Experience with agentic AI is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with data management and interpretation, including use of AI/ML in creative problem solving for complex datasets. Must be able to communicate methodology and findings at varying levels of expertise.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and describe relevant uncertainties in datasets and how they relate to business questions.
  • Ability to distill complex insights.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Passion for data analysis and problem solving.
  • Familiarity and interest in life sciences/biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Close attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be dependable and results driven.
