Position Summary:
The Strategic Alliance Executive is responsible for creating significant new business opportunities in WCG’s largest and most established accounts. Using sophisticated relationship management skills and competencies, the Strategic Alliance Executive works with senior-level client decision makers, identifies and shapes strategic client objectives, and aligns those objectives with WCG services and products to create further growth in targeted accounts. The Strategic Alliance Executive works horizontally across WCG’s four divisions – coordinating account strategies with divisional business development representatives, marketing, and operations. The Strategic Alliance Executive is empowered by a series of tools to help effectively advise clients, which includes access to vast datasets, a marketing function, and deep existing relationships with over 4,000 accounts. 

Location: 
WCG is open to considering qualified candidates throughout the U.S. who would work remotely.  The amount of travel will vary based on location of the candidate and assigned accounts. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Uses WCG data and analytics, market intelligence, account information, and existing relationships to shape effective client strategies 
• Uses expert relationship management skills to work with senior-level biopharma and CRO decision makers to introduce and champion WCG services and solutions
• Builds, maintains, and evolves strategic business relationships with biopharma and CRO’s
• Leads internal client communities comprised of key personnel across all WCG subsidiaries to create actionable account plans and develop strategies aligned with corporate goals and centered on driving near- and long-term WCG growth in assigned accounts 
• Utilizes deep knowledge of assigned accounts to produce significant account growth 
• Prepare client presentations to the standards of the company
• Work within a vigorous metrics-driven environment.

Key Qualifications and Attributes 
• 7+ years of progressive, successful relationship management experience in the life sciences industry with a focus on research and development and clinical trials.
• Demonstrated ability to drive growth and close new business in existing and new accounts in a strategic selling role.
• Proven track record in building, maintaining and growing strategic business relationships with biopharma and CRO’s.
• Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to identify client challenges and develop innovative solutions to address them.
• Highly effective leader of multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix, cross-functional setting.
• Able to align business development plans and activities to corporate objectives 
• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
• Strong work ethic, authentic enthusiasm, positive attitude and true passion on display 
• Exudes competence, credibility and character

Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
